Independent - Innovative - In Bavaria!
Welcome! My name is Marius Dupuis. I've been inventing, marketing, and implementing environment and system simulation solutions for automotive, railroad and aerospace applications for the best part of my professional life.
As co-founder and general manager of VIRES Simulationstechnologie GmbH - a company acquired by Hexagon Metrology Systems in 2017 - I was engaged in all aspects of a company that always aimed for maintaining its start-up spirit.
I left VIRES for good in early 2020, spent a few months in a sabbatical, and launched my own consultancy and services company in late summer 2020.
My office is located in Bayrischzell, a small Bavarian village which is mostly known for its touristic appeal. Being able to work where others spend
their vacation is a privilege that I highly appreciate and which gives me the energy, inspiration and creativity needed for innovative solutions.
A Clear CV
Why bother with details? My CV is straight enough to fit into a small picture. Most important: I finally left "life in a box" and can go anywhere from here.
It has been a few years since I started my professional career, and there has been an innumerable quantity of projects I have been involved in; besides a deep dive in software development,
system layout and other technical issues, the "side business" of
co-founding, running, scaling and - finally - selling a company has helped me gain quite some experience in economic, management, marketing and
administrative fields. I'm happy to make my knowledge and strategic thinking available to other parties now.

My Business Model
I'd love to work with you!
Let me share my experience and knowledge in order to assist you in developing and implementing your individual simulation strategy and solutions. I usually work on a per-project basis with a clear definition of its scope, extent and expected results. My homebase is my primary workplace but it is fully understood that world-wide engagements also require adaptations to different time zones, flexibility in terms of travel etc. This has always been part of my engagements.
2021 was a good year for starting new endeavors. There are already two:

Two colleagues and me started in April 2021 and we are adding new content roughly twice a month. On our website, you'll find a good mix of background information, expert voices and even some "odd things".|
|https://www.simcert.org||Finding the needle in the haystack of simulation solutions is a challenge. With my SimCert initiative (started in May 2021), I am aiming for raising transparency in a growing market which is constantly adding new players and products.|
Partners make you stronger. M. Dupuis Engineering Services is a member of
